Privacy and security

  • The site uses only the necessary cookies that allow it to function properly.
  • We recommend that you use a very strong password to protect your account.
  • We recommend that you use a VPN to protect your privacy online.
  • Niqash is designed to prioritize and protect user anonymity. Users are strongly encouraged not to use their real names or any personally identifiable information when creating an account.  The Niqash server does not collect or store personal data such as email addresses, phone numbers, real names, IP addresses, or any other identifying information.  To support essential account functions—such as password recovery and banning harmful users—the server stores a portion of the unique invitation link used during account creation. This stored data is a random string that contains no personal information and is not meaningful on its own.  However, this data enables a trusted Niqash administrator to perform a secure cross-referencing procedure with information stored in a separate, secure location to determine the original recipient of an invitation link. This process is strictly controlled and is used only to verify the identity of users who are locked out of their accounts or to prevent banned users from regaining access to the system.  Niqash is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful environment while safeguarding the anonymity and privacy of its users.
